”Every Latina deserves to feel confident, valued, and proud of who she is.”

”Every Latina deserves to feel confident, valued, and proud of who she is.”

If you’ve ever felt like no matter how much you give, it’s still not enough — at home, at work, or even within yourself — you’re not alone. Many young Latinas carry the weight of cultural expectations, self-doubt, and identity struggles in silence.

I created Brighter Days Psychotherapy to be a safe, supportive space where those struggles don’t have to be hidden — and where healing and confidence can begin.

Personal story

Personal story

As the oldest daughter of Mexican immigrants, I carried responsibilities far beyond my years. I translated at doctor’s appointments, mediated family disagreements, and felt the constant pressure to be perfect. My parents’ sacrifices taught me the value of family, but they also came with expectations that made it hard to set boundaries or prioritize myself.

Through my own journey in therapy, I realized these struggles aren’t mine alone — they’re shared by so many Latinas. I know how isolating it feels to sit with a therapist who doesn’t understand why saying “no” feels impossible or why family obligations can feel heavier than anything else. That’s why I became the therapist I once needed: someone who can hold space for the complexity of our culture with warmth, compassion, and understanding.
